It's all about Atmosphere...

The Outpost, just 15 miles north of Pierre, South Dakota, is easily accessible by land or air travel. Taxi service to and from the airport is available, or we'll be happy to meet you and take you back to meet your plane.

The House & Cabins 15 & 16

The House (Upper unit) is a 3 bedroom log house with 8 twin beds.  Unit has 2 bathrooms and a full kitchen with  refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, stove, microwave and sink. Satellite T.V. is included.  Cabins 15 and 16 (Lower units) have kitchenette with microwave, toaster, coffee maker, sink, full size refrigerator, Satellite TV. Guests need to provide cooking and eating utensils, pots and pans. Linens are provided with light housekeeping and towel services on a daily basis.

The Ranch

The Ranch is a 4 bedroom unit with 8 twin beds.  Unit has 2 bathrooms and a full kitchen with a refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, stove, microwave and a sink.   Satellite T.V. is included.  Linens are provided with light housekeeping and towel service furnished on a daily basis.  Guest should provide your own cooking and eating utensils, pans and dishes.

The Sportsman's Den - East and West

New in 2008, each Den is a 4 bedroom, 2 bath, handicap accessible unit with kitchenette and living quarters.  Each unit sleeps 8 people with 3 queens & 5 twin beds.  Kitchenette includes refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, and a sink.   Satellite T.V. is included.  Linens are provided with light housekeeping and towel service furnished on a daily basis.  Guest should provide your own cooking and eating utensils, pans and dishes.

 
Modern Log Cabins

We have 10 units all with their own kitchenette. Each unit has two queen beds and a private bath.  Kitchenettes include a refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, counter top two burner stove with exhaust, and a sink.  We have 3 new units, each with a double and twin bed.  These units have a microwave only (no cook top), toaster, coffeemaker refrigerator, and sink. All units include linens, Satellite TV, air conditioning and heating.  Guests should provide your own cooking and eating utensils, pans and dishes. Light housekeeping and towel service is furnished on a daily basis.

After an exciting day on the water or hunting, come and relax at the LODGE. Enjoy a casual dinner as you over look Cow Creek Bay. We're sure you'll agree the view is fantastic!

Camp Sites

The 20 Outpost Campsites are rented by the year.  Water, sewer, electricity, and garbage are included on the 30' X 50' lots.  All units must be self contained, no bathroom facilities are available.
